CONTIGUITY – MULTIPLE PARCELS ENDORSEMENT

ISSUED BY STEWART TITLE LIMITED (the “Company”)

The Company insures against loss or damage sustained by the Insured by reason of:

  1. the failure of the _________ boundary line of Parcel A of the Land to be contiguous to the ______ boundary line of Parcel B [for more than two parcels, continue as follows: of [the ______ boundary line of Parcel B] of the Land to be contiguous to [the ______ boundary line of Parcel C] and so on until all contiguous parcels described in the policy have been accounted for]; and
  2. the presence of any gaps, strips, or gores separating any of the contiguous boundary lines described above. 

This endorsement is issued as part of the policy. Except as it expressly states, it does not (i) modify any of the terms and provisions of the policy, (ii) modify any prior endorsements, (iii) extend the Date of Policy, or (iv) increase the Amount of Insurance. To the extent a provision of the policy or a previous endorsement is inconsistent with an express provision of this endorsement, this endorsement controls. Otherwise, this endorsement is subject to all of the terms and provisions of the policy and of any prior endorsements.

This endorsement is only valid when it bears an authorized Stewart agent countersignature.

Issuing Guidelines: This endorsement is designed for use with an Owner or Loan Policy. It may be issued upon receipt of satisfactory confirmation such as a review of a survey or Reference Plan, that the boundaries of the multiple parcels forming the entirety of the Land are contiguous. Underwriter pre-approval is required before offering this endorsement.
