ENDORSEMENT TO LEASEHOLD LOAN
STEWART TITLE GUARANTY COMPANY
herein called the Company
Conditions and Stipulations 1(f) is amended by adding the following:
"Public records" shall also include (1) matters revealed by the area Land Titles & Records Office of the Bureau of Indian Affairs in a certified Title Status Report provided for the issuance of this policy, (2) records established under tribal law prior to the Date of Policy for the purpose of imparting constructive notice of matters relating to real property to purchasers for value and without knowledge; provided however, that the Company has access to such records for search and examination purposes.
This endorsement is made a part of said commitment and is subject to the schedules, conditions and stipulations therein, except as modified by the provisions hereof.
Nothing herein contained shall be construed as extending or changing the effective date of said commitment unless otherwise expressly stated.
Signed under seal for the Company, but this Endorsement is to be valid only when it bears an authorized countersignature.
This endorsement is issued as part of the policy. Except as it expressly states, it does not (i) modify any of the terms and provisions of the policy, (ii) modify any prior endorsements, (iii) extend the Date of Policy or (iv) increase the Amount of Insurance. To the extent a provision of the policy or a previous endorsement is inconsistent with an express provision of this endorsement, this endorsement controls. Otherwise, this endorsement is subject to all of the terms and provisions of the policy and of any prior endorsements.
