RE: RATES AND/OR FORMS UPDATE - New Indiana Rate Manual

Dear Associates:

The Indiana Department of Insurance has approved Stewart’s latest rate submission, and the new rates are effective July 7, 2025.

A copy of the revised Schedule of Charges for Title Insurance in the State of Indiana (“Rate Manual”) is available here.

These rates/forms have been provided to third-party title production system (TPS) vendors. Please contact your TPS vendor or account services representative to have the new/revised rates/forms implemented in your system.

A summary of the changes to the Rate Manual is outlined below.

  • Residential property definition includes 1-4 family dwellings up to 50 acres
  • Residential simultaneous loan policy charge is $120 and commercial simultaneous loan policy charge is $300
  • Residential reissue credit is 20% with minimum charge of $150 and no commercial reissue credit is available
  • Tiered rates up to $20,000,000 added for the ALTA Residential Limited Coverage Mortgage Modification Policy
  • New tables for residential Owner’s and Lender’s policy basic rates
  • Revised tables for commercial Owner’s and Lender's policy basic rates
  • Newly added endorsements:
    • ALTA 10.2 Collateral Assignment
    • ALTA 10.3 Collateral Assignment and Date Down
    • ALTA 22.2 Land Address
    • ALTA 28 Easement – Damage or Enforced Removal
    • ALTA 36.9 Energy Project – Mineral and Other Subsurface Substances – Land Under Development
    • ALTA 48.1 – Tribal Limited Waiver and Consent Agreement
    • STG Datedown Endorsement
  • Centralized refinance and HELOC rates
