The Adirondack Park comprises approximately six million acres of land in northeastern New York State. Approximately two-thirds of the park area is privately owned. Use and development of the privately owned land in the park is governed by the Adirondack Park Agency Act. Where a search discloses an Adirondack Park Agency permit, the restrictive covenants contained in such permit are to be excepted. Where land lies within the Park, the following exception should be added to Schedule B.
Adirondack Park Exception
The land lies within the Adirondack Park and is subject to the restrictive uses and regulations imposed by the Adirondack Park Agency.
